Clays “1 Million Customers” - Terms & Conditions
1. Promoter The promoter of this campaign is Clays (the “Promoter”).
2. Eligibility 2.1 The campaign is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. 2.2 Guests must be 18 or over to redeem alcohol-related prizes. 2.3 Employees of Clays and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. 2.4 By participating in this campaign, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
3. Campaign Period 3.1 The campaign runs from 1 March to 31 March (inclusive) (the “Campaign Period”). 3.2 All qualifying bookings must take place within this period to be eligible for entry into the Hero Prize draw. 3.3 Instant win prizes must be claimed in accordance with the redemption instructions provided at the time of winning.
HERO PRIZE – 1 MILLIONTH CUSTOMER 4. Automatic Entry 4.1 All guests who book and attend a Clays venue during the Campaign Period will automatically be entered into the draw to win the Hero Prize. 4.2 No additional purchase or action is required beyond attending a valid booking during March. 4.3 The Promoter will determine the 1 millionth customer using internal sales and booking data. 4.4 The Promoter’s decision is final.
5. Hero Prize Details The Hero Prize consists of:
- A one-night stay for two people at The Grove (subject to availability and the hotel’s booking terms);
- One Antler suitcase (Expandable Cabin Suitcase in Antler Green - Icon Stripe- subject to availability);
- One £500 voucher of the winner’s choice (subject to retailer terms and availability).
5.1 The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered. 5.2 Travel to and from The Grove is not included unless otherwise stated. 5.3 The hotel stay is subject to availability and blackout dates may apply. 5.4 If any element of the prize becomes unavailable, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.
INSTANT WIN PRIZES (IN-VENUE) 6. How Instant Win Works 6.1 During their visit, guests may be given a promotional handout containing a QR code. 6.2 Guests must scan the QR code, submit their details, opt in to marketing and follow the instructions to reveal their prize. 6.3 Prizes are randomly allocated via the digital mechanic. 6.4 Guests must provide accurate contact details. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incorrect or incomplete information.
7. Buy One Get One Free Drink Prizes 7.1 Buy One Get One Free (“B1G1F”) drinks prizes are redeemable on the same day as issue only. 7.2 Winners must present proof of their win to venue staff. 7.3 All members of the winning group must wear a date-stamped wristband provided by the venue in order to redeem the offer. 7.4 The B1G1F offer entitles the winner to receive one free drink of the same type and size as the qualifying drink purchased. The free drink must be identical to the purchased drink. The complimentary drink must be redeemed at the same time as the qualifying purchase and cannot be exchanged for an alternative product, upgraded, or substituted. 7.5 Clays reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse service of any drink where it reasonably considers this necessary for licensing compliance, responsible alcohol service, stock availability, or operational reasons. 7.6 The B1G1F offer is subject to responsible drinking guidelines and applicable licensing laws. Alcohol will only be served to guests aged 18 or over. 7.7 The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and has no cash alternative.
8. Clays £ Off Voucher Prizes 8.1 £ off vouchers will be issued via email to the address provided at the time of entry. 8.2 Vouchers are valid until 30 April (inclusive). 8.3 Vouchers are redeemable against future bookings only and cannot be redeemed during the same visit in which they are won. 8.4 Vouchers are non-transferable and have no cash value. 8.5 Only one voucher may be used per booking unless otherwise stated.
9. Special Prizes 9.1 Special prizes such as cocktail masterclasses or sports tickets will be fulfilled directly by the Promoter. 9.2 Winners will be contacted using the details provided at entry. 9.3 Specific dates, availability, and any additional terms will be communicated directly to winners. 9.4 If a winner does not respond within 5 days of contact, the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize.
GENERAL 10. Data Protection 10.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with Clays’ Privacy Policy. 10.2 Data collected through the campaign may be used for prize fulfilment and marketing communications where consent has been provided.
11. Liability 11.1 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for: Technical failures of any kind;
- Lost, delayed, or incomplete entries;
- Any inability to redeem a prize due to circumstances outside the Promoter’s control.
11.2 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.
12. General Rights 12.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or withdraw the campaign at any time where necessary due to circumstances outside its reasonable control. 12.2 The Promoter’s decision in all matters relating to the campaign is final. 12.3 These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
